I use creativity to bring people together through workshops, digital storytelling & community arts. Alongside leading Ormeau Community Cinema, I develop creative learning projects that build confidence, connection and access to culture.
Ormeau Community Cinema
Chairperson, Managing Director & Social Media Coordinator (2021-Present)
I oversee all aspects of Ormeau Community Cinema, from programming and partnerships to marketing and audience development. Over the past year I’ve led major events including the Paranormeau Activity Halloween Festival, the Floating Films open-air screening on the River Lagan, and the launch of new festivals such as Much Ado About Rom-Coms. My role combines creative direction with community engagement, ensuring our cinema continues to grow as an inclusive cultural hub on Belfast’s Ormeau Road. www.ormeaucommunitycinema.com

Arts Faciltator (2021-Present)
Since 2021, I’ve worked as a freelance arts facilitator across schools, youth groups and community organisations, using filmmaking, photography, animation and digital storytelling as tools for creative learning. Across my WheelWorks work alone, I’ve delivered 350+ hours of facilitation and worked directly with 100+ young people, ranging from primary-school pupils to young adults aged 24.

Digital Project Manager & Project Coordinator (2024-2025)
After several years working with WheelWorks as a freelance facilitator, I joined the staff team in late 2024, first as Project Coordinator and later as Digital Project Manager. I coordinated the Trailblazers Digital Academy across 5+ schools and community groups, managing artists, schools, programme delivery and evaluation. I later managed digital arts projects including Artomaton Digital Evolution, the Digital Arts Summer Programme and redevelopment of the WheelWorks Tech Studio, supporting creative learning and community engagement with 100+ participants.
Trailblazers Digital Academy
A good relations programme working primarily with P6 and P7 pupils, approximately 9–11 years old. I used filmmaking, animation and digital storytelling to help young people explore culture, identity and collaboration, creating work together while developing their confidence and creative skills. iProgramme
A creative youth programme using photography, filmmaking, animation and other forms of digital storytelling to encourage communication and positive relationships. Sessions were participant-led, giving young people space to explore issues important to them through creative media. Learn more here
iArrive
A programme delivered with newcomer and refugee young people at Integrated College Glengormley. I used digital storytelling and creative media to support participants in sharing experiences, exploring identity and connecting with others within the school community. Learn more here
TS3 Training – Get Started with Content Creation
Through WheelWorks’ TS3 digital arts training programme, I delivered The King’s Trust Get Started with Content Creation, working with young people aged 16–30 to build practical creative and employability skills. Across the programme, participants explored scriptwriting, audience development and visual marketing, before creating and editing their own audio and video content. The course combined hands-on creative learning with confidence-building, teamwork and an introduction to potential pathways into the creative industries. Learn more here
The Third Space
Worked with vulnerable young people aged 14–24 as part of a 26-week personal development programme. I facilitated audiovisual and digital storytelling activity, helping participants develop filmmaking skills while using creativity to build confidence, community awareness and communication. Innovation Recovery Mental Health Outreach Programme
Worked as a Storyteller using digital art, visual art and creative storytelling within a recovery-focused community programme. Sessions followed the CHIME approach, exploring connection, hope & identity through creative activity.
Alongside these larger programmes I’ve delivered shorter WheelWorks projects and workshops including Children in Need, Safe Space to Be Me, Cedar Lodge Animation, Naba Camp Photography, Portadown YMCA and Summer Saturday Photography, working across photography, film, animation and arts-based engagement with children and young people throughout Northern Ireland.
